Inter are using the bid that Salernitana made for Andrea Pinamonti as a way to get other clubs to bid the same amount, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter received a bid from Salernitana of €20 million which is exactly what they intend to receive for Andrea Pinamonti.

Unfortunately for the Nerazzurri, Andrea Pinamonti wants to play for a team that is aiming higher up the table than the Granata are and he rejected their advances.

Inter now realise that they can use the fact that a club bid their asking price to strongarm other clubs into bidding the same amount of money.

Atalanta now seem to be the only club really in the running and they have been offering €15 million for the 23-year-old.

Inter could end up agreeing to a loan with an obligation to buy and a buy-back clause.
