Inter have moved quickly to appoint their successor to Antonio Conte by bringing in Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi.
The Scudetto-winner surprisingly left the club this week after two years in charge and after ending Juventus’ decade of dominance.
And he has been replaced by Inzaghi, who turned down an offer to remain with the Aquile in order to move to the reigning champions.
The 45-year-old has signed a two-year deal at San Siro after leaving his position at Lazio on Thursday night.
Inzaghi took over in the Italian capital in the summer of 2016 after impressing with the club’s youth sides.
He led them to the Coppa Italia in 2019 as well as Supercoppa titles, in addition to guiding them into the Champions League knockout stage last season.
