Inter and Alexis Sanchez are close to reaching an agreement on the termination of his contract, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Chilean forward and the Nerazzurri are working towards a resolution that will allow Inter to lighten their wage bill considerably and Alexis Sanchez to join Marseille.

Once Alexis Sanchez is off of the Nerazzurri wage bill, they will have managed to achieve one of their first market objectives which was to reduce the wage bill by 10%. Players like Arturo Vidal and Ivan Perisic leaving has also helped to reach that point.
Alexis Sanchez has got an agreement in place with Marseille for a contract that will see him earn €3 million per season.
He gave an interview earlier this week that suggested he is very happy to be leaving Inter after a season where he did not get many starts.
