Inter and AC Milan have made it clear that they have no plan B and that the only option is a brand new stadium in place of San Siro according to a report from Calcio e Finanza.
The two clubs made this abundantly clear as part of their latest presentation to the Milanese city council after some councillors raised concerns about the clubs plans for a new stadium.
As per the report, some even accused the clubs of trying to blackmail the city council into giving into their demands by threatening to move elsewhere in the city to private land where they could do what they like.
Mark Van Huuksloot, project manager for Inter and Domenico Barile, Elliot consultant and responsible for the stadium project for Milan were the two representatives at the meeting on behalf of the clubs.
The pair were also asked about how ticket prices would be affected by the fact a brand new stadium, which will cost around €1.2 billion to construct but made it clear that the stadium will be for everyone.
