Inter and AC Milan feel cautiously optimistic about the progress of their new stadium project after they presented a new and updated dossier to the Municipality of Milan ahead of the planned public debate.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that there is optimism from the two clubs that things are moving in the right direction.

Inter and Milan have submitted a new dossier that has changed some aspects of the construction plans for the new stadium in response to requests from the municipality, namely reducing the amount of concrete used and altering the plans for the hotel and shop.

Now it is left for the public debate to take place, and while this will be a couple weeks behind schedule, it should take place in due course.

As part of the debate, their will be ten rounds of discussion, five for the general public, and five for experts and academics to discuss the various facets of the proposed new stadium.

The clubs are cautiously optimistic that they are on track to begin construction, although they know there is still a lot left to be done.
