Inter and Milan have both expressed an interest in signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Vidal could have joined the Nerazzurri last summer before a last-minute change of plan from Piero Ausilio saw him move to Spain instead, where he enjoyed mixed fortunes in his debut campaign.
Barcelona consider the Chilean international an important player and have not put him up for sale, although they could do so when he has one year left on his contract next year.
If Vidal were to leave the Catalan giants he would be more attracted to Inter, who would play in the Champions League and have his former coach Antonio Conte, than Milan.
The 32-year-old scored three goals and created seven assists last year as Barca won the La Liga title under Ernesto Valverde.
He is currently representing Chile in the Copa America, with La Roja due to face Colombia in the quarter-finals on Friday.
