Barcelona intermediaries are convinced they have a deal in place for Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicuta.

Off contract in June, Azpilicueta hasn't heard from Chelsea about a new deal and as such, he is now fielding pre-contract offers from foreign clubs.

Atetico Madrid have expressed interest, however Barca are now confident of clinching the Spain international's commitment.

Speaking on El Chiringuito, local journalist Jose Alvarez has revealed a deal is in place between Barca and Azpilicueta.

The Chelsea captain has agreed a three-year pre-contract with the option of a fourth with Barca, reports Alvarez.
