Argentina confirmed on Wednesday night that the player would leave the squad.

Like Lionel Messi and Paulo Dybala, Di María’s call up to the squad was his first since the 2018 World Cup.

Paris-Saint Germain will be hoping he is available when they face Toulouse at the end of the month.

With Neymar and Edinson Cavani injured, Di María has been forced to step up for the Ligue 1 champions of late and has done so brilliantly, scoring six goals in his last six games.
