Carlo Ancelotti will not be happy with what he’s seen during Wednesday’s first-half against Las Palmas.
On numerous occasions, Los Blancos have struggled to find the net despite testing goalkeeper Álvaro Valles.
Then, to make matters worse, David Alaba was forced off with an injury and limped straight down the tunnel just before half-time.
It means Madrid’s centre-back options are now Nacho and Antonio Rüdiger – who were already on the pitch.
Éder Militão is already out long-term, as is first choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Lucas Vázquez was later brought on to replace Alaba. But it’s a weak defensive line for the hosts.
