Benfica’s trip to Madeira was cut short after intense weather conditions forced the game against Nacional to be abandoned.
Thick fog covered the view at the Estádio da Madeira, and players were on the pitch for only nine minutes of action.
Visuals shared on social media captured the scenes where you could barely see the players on the pitch.
Officials ultimately called the game off after the fog failed to lift, meaning Benfica will have to wait to extend their winning streak.
They have won five consecutive games across all competitions, including a stunning Champions League victory over Atlético de Madrid, and sit third in the league.
Relegation zone Nacional, meanwhile, will have some extra time to prepare for a crunch clash.
