Tottenham Hotspur could be set to turn a profit on defender Joe Rodon in the summer following his loan spell with Leeds United.
The defender has had a difficult time since landing at Hotspur Way back in 2020 with numerous loan spells being the key source of his action.
Now on his latest loan in Yorkshire, the defender is finally finding his feet in a regular starting XI having dropped down to the Championship.

Going into the summer window, Rodon will have just one year remaining on his contract with the Lilywhites despite having not even played 25 times for the club.
None of his 24 appearances have come under Ange Postecoglou with the Australian making it clear from the get go that he was not in his plans.
However, this did not deter Rodon from going out on loan and enjoying an impressive spell in the Championship with Daniel Farke’s side.
And speaking on the Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast, journalist Alasdair Gold has claimed Spurs could even make a profit on Rodon in the summer: ‘I think Joe Rodon’s going to go for a fair whack of money. I think this is exactly what Spurs want from these kind of loan deals. Especially with having no option on the deal, Leeds, Rodon could be up there. You know, he could be like £15m upwards. Maybe even if he is incredible and gets them up, you could be looking at £20m. Spurs could end up making a profit on him,’ Gold said.

Despite having only kept one clean sheet in their last 16 Premier League games, there is some real competition for places at centre-back at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have become the two main options for Postecoglou, but the Australian also has Radu Dragusin at his disposal.
The latter has made it clear that he is not growing impatient over his lack of game time with his agent recently coming out to clear up the situation.
With all of this in mind, as well as Ashley Phillips impressing out on loan, it is difficult to imagine where Rodon could potentially slot in at Spurs.
Having signed him originally from Swansea City for around £11m, it seems not many will be upset at Spurs if they can turn a profit on the Welshman.
It would be a shame to see Rodon’s time at Spurs come to an end having never really been handed a chance, but it’s good to see he is showing his value at Elland Road with Leeds.
