In the case of Manchester United just sheer hypocrisy – Who continue to take Saudi Arabia millions

I haven’t met one Newcastle United fan who has went into ‘meltdown’ due to Newcastle United failing to qualify for the Europa Conference League, courtesy of Man U’s surprise FA Cup victory at Wembley over Man City.
There have been a lot of silly and unfounded accusations bandied around about our fanbase over the last 32 months, since the Saudi Arabia PIF led takeover of NUFC.
The ‘Mag meltdown’ is just the latest in a catalogue of untruths designed to make the insecure and gullible supporters of envious clubs feel a little bit better about the situation.
The jealousy that exists amongst not only fans of recognised Septic Six cartel clubs, but also smaller EPL sides, including one particular Championship club, is still at a premium.
In the case of certain Septic Six clubs, the likes of Liverpool, Spurs and to some lesser extent Arsenal, this anti-Saudi and Newcastle United rhetoric has been fuelled from within the boardrooms of power and one loose-lipped former manager.
In the case of Manchester United it is just sheer hypocrisy. That club continues to literally take millions from Saudi Arabia in sponsorship money, 16 years and counting since 2008.
The fact that an entire fanbase of self-entitled glory hunting reds begged a spoof Sheikh from Qatar to save them from the dreaded Glazers and their mate Sir Jim Ratcliffe for almost a year, is also extremely cringeworthy and laughable.
The fact that so many north west and London based scribes labelled Newcastle United’s takeover as abhorrent, yet had so little negative to write about the Salfords’ potential involvement with another oil state, actually said it all.
I first heard of the interest from a potential consortium in the middle east as early as 2017 and when it became apparent that the Saudi Arabia PIF were interested in obtaining a substantial shareholding, I steadfastly stuck to my guns throughout and predicted that the takeover would definitely happen (a look through my author profile below will confirm this).
The fact that opposing fans, who lets face it are our enemies, are still whinging and trying to score with cheap digs and insults, just goes to prove that we have got them all rattled and that they are unlikely to ever recover.
For what it’s worth, the delusional mackems have been finally and completely blown out of the water, now well and truly sickened to the core and devoid of any hope.
The Premier League cartel on the other hand, will continue to try by any means possible with the help of their friends at the FA and the EPL to try and hinder us.
This is only a short term fix though because the FFP and Profit and Sustainability rules are badly flawed.
Realistically, the stars became aligned for the Toon to eventually sweep all before us quite a few moons ago.
As the great Sinatra would have put it to them all…”Don’t you know little fools, you never can win. Use your mentality…Wake up to reality.”
They’re all still running scared of a club that hasn’t won anything of note for 55 years and counting.
