Thiago Alcantara

The No.6 came off early in the second half of Liverpool's Premier League opener with Fulham.

Jürgen Klopp on August 6: "Now with Thiago that is, of course, not good and we will see."

Ibrahima Konate

The defender came off during the second half of the friendly with RC Strasbourg Alsace and will miss the start of the season as a result of the injury.

Klopp on August 5: "Ibou, in a challenge in the game against Strasbourg, what happened there we have to see how long it will take but he is out for a while."

Naby Keita

Keita sat out the fixture with Strasbourg due to illness.

Klopp on August 6: "Naby is only ill and he will now be back definitely next week again."

Curtis Jones

Jones was absent from the Reds' squad for their final pre-season friendly of the summer.

Klopp on August 5: "We hope with Curtis we caught it in the right moment, that's just how it is with young players. They have some kind of stress reactions sometimes and then if they go over it because it's not massive pain, it could lead to something serious. We caught it early but we still have to be careful. That's it with him, so he is not in."

Kostas Tsimikas

Tsimikas sat out the friendly at Red Bull Salzburg with a minor issue and has been recovering since.

Klopp on August 5: "Kostas [was] unlucky in a training situation. I saw him now, he was out on the pitch and he might be - in his opinion, anyway - ready to train next week, which is helpful."

Diogo Jota

The forward is currently sidelined with a hamstring issue.

Jota on August 2: "I was coming back in this pre-season, I felt it a little bit again. So it will be a few more weeks, I would say."

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The No.15 suffered a muscle injury during the friendly with Crystal Palace in Singapore.

Klopp on July 29: "It's a serious hamstring injury and it will take longer."

Calvin Ramsay

The summer arrival missed out on the pre-season tour of Asia with a minor fitness issue.

Klopp on July 9: "Unfortunately, Calvin is now not training with us in the moment, he has a little injury. Nobody knew, we found it when he did his medical check."

Caoimhin Kelleher

The Republic of Ireland international is currently unavailable for selection.

Klopp on July 29: "I think Caoimh will be another two, three weeks and then he should be fine."
