Lincoln City's excellent record from set-pieces this season continues - with the Imps adding another two to their tally in their 4-2 win over Bolton Wanderers on Easter Monday.

We highlighted Michael Skubala's side back in March when they reached 25 goals from corners, free-kicks and throw-ins - and the League One side have kept the pedal to the metal since then to add another five goals, two of them against the Trotters. Erik Ring netted from a corner early on against Bolton before Reeco Hackett-Fairchild sealed victory in the second-half with a fantastic long-range free-kick, which caught out Wanderers' keeper Nathan Baxter.

Unbeaten in their last five, Lincoln are finishing the campaign well and they have now hit the 30-goal milestone, in terms of set-piece goals in 2024/25. To add context, this is six more than any other side in 'The 92', League Two Walsall the 'next best' with 24 set-piece strikes to their credit.

A whopping 33 of Lincoln's goals this season have now stemmed from dead-ball situations (including penalties) meaning 53% of their 62 League One goals have followed pauses in play.

The Imps' two remaining games of the season are testers against Stockport and then Wrexham, and it will be interesting to see if they can make their set-piece specialism count against both promotion contenders.
