Lazio striker Ciro Immobile is hoping to score his first Europa League goal of the season against Olympique Marseille this evening.

As highlighted by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian striker has been in fine form in Serie A so far this campaign, having netted seven goals in seven games, but he still hasn’t managed to find the back of the net in the Europa League yet.

In total Immobile has scored 11 goals in 21 Europa League matches for Lazio and his goal record in the Champions League is even better.

The 31-year-old Italian striker scored four goals in six Champions League games for Borussia Dortmund, and five in five for Lazio last season.
