There will be some pretty entertaining stories around of how players got transfer moves to different clubs, and you can now add Marc Cucurella’s to that list.
The left back joined from Brighton in the summer, and he has been detailing how that came about in a big profile article on the Chelsea 5th Stand App this week.

And as you can see from the screen grabs of the article below, it’s one dramatic story. It appears that Blues owner Todd Boehly tried to catch Cucurella for a meeting before he left on holiday for Ibiza, but Cucurella didn’t check his phone and left anyway!
