Jadon Sancho’s deadline day move to Chelsea was confirmed officially by the club late yesterday after a day of fans being forced to wait for the confirmation.

Sancho signed for Chelsea in the final moments of the deadline day on Friday, and since then Chelsea had obviously been preparing his announcement with some media and interviews etc.

He was finally confirmed as a new Blues player yesterday, and Chelsea’s players have been reacting.

The captain welcomes his ‘brother’

As you can see from above, Chelsea captain Reece James was just one of a number of Chelsea players who took time to welcome Sancho to the club on social media, with James referring to Sancho as his ‘brother’ sharing an old picture of the pair of them playing against each other.

Sancho clearly has a lot of admirers and friends already in this Chelsea team and will hopefully fit in like a glove.
