Chelsea have spent an incredible amount of money on signing new players in the last few seasons since the new owners arrived at the club.
Some of those signings are really starting to shine now as the squad on the whole develops and matures, and this has led to the valuation of Chelsea’s squad rising as well.
In a chart from CIES football that has come out today, they have made a list of clubs who have the highest current transfer value of their squad in it’s entirety.
As you can see, Chelsea are now third in this list, showing the form of the current crop of players they have, only being behind Real Madrid who are top, and Manchester City below them.
They call it the highest aggregate transfer value of players owned.
It probably shows just how far they have come in a few years in terms of squad building.
