Chelsea’s squad planning was simply not good enough this season. That’s why we’ve been left with no left back, no adequate right back cover, and no striker who can actually score reguarly.
It’s easy to say that with hindsight, but back in the summer, the club’s business was being hailed as a “masterstroke” by one Twitter user, who was happy with the way that 9 players were sold off to buy Romelu Lukaku.
