Modern football went mad last night as England lost 2-1 to Greece in the Nations League Group B at Wembley. Lee Carsley played Football Manager in real life and failed!

I think Carsley will be lucky to be England manager for much longer after setting up in a bizarre way against Greece, using an Xl full of attackers, and no recognised striker!

Palmer still played well

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer still got a decent rating, as you can see above, despite being asked to largely play as a deep centre midfielder as the closest to Declan Rice!

And then he was moved to right wing later in the second half.

It was truly bizarre.
