Both Reece James and Ben Chilwell have rather unexpectedly turned up in Abi Dhabi to watch Chelsea play this week, despite the fact that both are injured and neither will step on the pitch at any point.

They’ve found their way to a front row seat for tonight’s semi final against Al Hilal however, and both mugged for the cameras ahead of kick off.

Given how much the pair did to get Chelsea to this game, it makes total sense that they want to be in situ should there be any trophy lifting to come on Saturday, after the final…

Reece James and Ben Chilwell slipped back into their matchday routine pretty easily – they had a stroll around the pitch together ahead of tonight's game. Neither will feature, of course, for Chelsea at the #CWC as they continue their recoveries from injury.
