FC Barcelona fans do not have to wait much longer to see the club’s new home kit for the 2025-26 season. The official launch is set for next week, and thanks to leaks on specialised websites, the design has already become familiar to supporters worldwide.
While everyone’s eyes are on the new shirt that the outfield players will wear, the design of the goalkeeper’s kit has now also been unveiled.
The new goalkeeper jersey was revealed by the account @memorabilia1899, which focuses on Barça history and collectables.
This is the shirt that Joan Garcia, Barcelona’s latest signing for the goalkeeper position, will wear when he takes his first steps in the Blaugrana goal.
The design is a striking green with fine vertical stripes in slightly different shades of green, giving it a unique textured look.
The shirt has a softer, more uniform green down the centre, while the sleeves feature a striped pattern that continues the green theme.
This gives the jersey a modern yet classic style, fitting for a club with Barcelona’s rich tradition.
Nike often uses a single design template for goalkeeper shirts across many of the clubs it sponsors each season. This means fans can get a good idea of Barça’s new goalkeeper kit by looking at what other Nike-sponsored goalkeepers are wearing.
For example, Robert Sanchez, Chelsea’s goalkeeper, wore a similar green design in Chelsea’s recent match against Benfica during the Club World Cup.
However, fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Garcia wearing the new shirt in action. The first glimpse of him in the green jersey is expected during Barcelona’s preseason, once the team starts playing its summer friendlies.
Until then, the excitement continues to build as supporters look forward to seeing both the new signings and the fresh kits on the pitch.
