Antonio Rudiger has been named in the PFA Team of the Year.
The defender – who left Chelsea at the end of his contract this month – carried on where he left off last season with a brilliant campaign.

Chelsea’s season fell apart a little at the end, but Rudiger kept up his brilliant performance levels very consistently. He was a rock at the back for the Blues, even as the campaign collapsed under the weight of Covid.
There can only be one choice for his highlight of the season – the wonder goal against Brentford that was a brilliant farewell to Stamford Bridge.
