During his press conference before facing PSG at the Parc des Princes with Marseille, Igor Tudor insisted that his team must be itself, even if off-field affairs dominate the news before Le Classique.
“I don’t think Paris is any less brilliant at the moment. They had two good games against Benfica, very serious. They have quality everywhere. We have to be ourselves, do what we know how to do and see what comes out.”
“I take game after game. I think about how we play, first of all. The points are a consequence, as is the ranking. For me, this is a wise way to look at things. After that, our importance as a club obliges us to always look at the top, to fight to reach it. Their budget, so much higher, is an anomaly that makes things more difficult. But the past has shown that it is possible. We have a serious team, we’ll see how it moves on. We’re on the right track, we have to keep it up.”
