NT-Sport, via Fotbolltransfers.com, reports United watched the 17-year-old against Varbergs Bois on Sunday. Bergmann Johannesson started the game and provided an assist as Norkopping won 3-1 on the day thanks to a hat-trick from Jonathan Levi.

After the match, it was put to the teen what he thought about the presence of a United scout being in the stands specifically to watch him.

"I do not think much about it, it's fun when big clubs look at me and think I'm a good player, but above all I focus on Norrköping," said Bergmann Johannesson.

Juventus are also scouting the youngster.

Bergmann Johannesson joined Norkopping over 18 months ago from Iceland's Akranes, where he came through the youth system. In 24 games for IFK over the past two seasons, Bergmann Johannesson has scored three goals and produced nine assists.

Interestingly, Bergmann Johannesson is English born, though has been capped by Iceland at U17 and U21 level. Standing at 1.8m, the teen is currently being employed as a winger by Norkopping, though is also capable of playing through the middle.

He added: "(My aim) it's just to continue to help the team in some way, whether it is with goals, assists or defensive work does not matter to me."
