“If I’m Mo Salah”: TalkSport pundit has say on Mohamed Salah’s contract | OneFootball

Speaking whilst on TalkSport, Gabby Agbonlahor had his say on Mohamed Salah’s contract situation, saying: “If I’m Mo Salah, I want £1 more than the highest paid player in the Premier League. If you don’t give it to me, I’ll go somewhere that will. I’m that important to Liverpool! Without me, they have no chance.”

The former Aston Villa striker gave a damming verdict on the situation, and one that is likely to leave some in disagreement. Ultimately, however, as arguably the best player in the Premier League right now, there should be no opposition to Salah becoming the highest paid in the division. If you’re the best, you should be paid the best in football.

Salah recently admitted that the contract is out of his hands, with it becoming clear that it is now down to the club to present the Egyptian with the right offer.
