Icardi Waiting For Juventus With A Move To Napoli Being His Back-Up Plan | OneFootball

Mauro Icardi is hopeful that Juventus could make their move for him in the coming days according to a report from Tuttosport.

The Argentine striker has been told he is no longer deemed as part of Inter’s plans going forward and he has been holding out for the Bianconeri with him much preferring a move to them over Napoli and Roma, who have both also shown an interest in signing him.

Juventus have so far been unable to move due to their bloated attacking department, which they are looking to try and shed a few players from, namely Gonzalo Higuain and Mario Mandzukic.

Icardi already seemingly has an agreement in principle with Napoli but the Partenopei are unwilling to wait around for him and have seemingly given him until Tuesday or Wednesday to accept the move.

The report goes on to state that Inter and Juventus could well perform a swap deal involving Icardi and Paulo Dybala, something which has been heavily speculated about in the media for some time now.
