Ibrahima Konate has said there’s every possibility that Liverpool could win the Champions League and Premier League this season, in a bold set of comments.
The defender hasn’t played a massive amount of competitive football since arriving at the club but that is largely because Jurgen Klopp likes to ease new faces into the side and get them up to speed that way.

Konate is impressed with what he has seen, though, and has suggested that some real success could be achieved this year:

It would be amazing if the Reds could pull off such a double but it is hard to see them doing it right now, just looking at the quality sides that are around.
Even so, winning a trophy this season is certainly possible, it just remains to be seen which one.
