Ibiza chief admits they're keen to re-sign Leeds youngster Mateusz Bogusz

Ibiza are keen to re-sign Leeds United youngster Mateusz Bogusz.

The Pole helped Ibiza reach promotion to the Segunda Division last season.

He made 22 appearances in total, scoring four goals and assisting seven more, but his season was brought to an end in January as he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in a 5-0 win over Malaga.

"All his teammates want him to continue," Ibiza sporting director Miguel Angel Gomez said. “The president wants him to continue, and the sporting director also wants him to continue, but it is a situation that has to be resolved with Leeds and the player himself.

“We have already presented, through the president, the request for him to return with us."
