“I would love to” – Hakim Ziyech admits a move away from Chelsea ‘will definitely happen’

It’s been a turbulent Chelsea career so far for Hakim Ziyech, who has been inconsistent to say the least.

He has started to perform a little better in recent matches, but for me, he is not doing anywhere near enough to show he can be a regular starter in this Chelsea team, and although he has popped up with some good goal contributions, he just isn’t fully adapting to life in the Premier League.

Ziyech joined Chelsea from Ajax, and it is his former club that he has been speaking publicly about today, as reported by Chelsea news account Absolute Chelsea below.

The Blues attacker says he would ‘love to’ return to Ajax and a move back to his former club ‘will definitely happen.’

Totally understand he is talking about some time in the future and not imminently, and I also understand the love he has for his former club and wanting to go back there. However, under the circumstances from a Chelsea standpoint, you don’t want to see one of your own players speaking like this in public to be honest.
