Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has not really mentioned Chelsea’s interest in Hugo Ekitike as much as others, but he’s now spoken out.

The big news comes after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.

EXCL: Chelsea will try to sign new goalkeeper this summer with names revealed as main targets – huge name here!

The Blues had to win this game to secure it, and they managed a 1-0 away win against Nottingham Forest to provide scenes of celebrations amongst the Blues players and staff yesterday evening. And in by doing this, Chelsea also set a brand new record in football!

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was so pleased with making the Champions League that he took the opportunity to swear at all of his critics across the season by telling them all to F off!!

Ekitike noise

Yesterday saw a lot of noise linking Chelsea to Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, and it made it seem like something was definitely happening there.

But as ever with these things, it doesn’t look like there is much behind the noise, at least not just yet anyway, and Romano is still staying quiet on it all.

He has spoken out though, because subs to his YouTube channel have been asking him about Ekitike and new strikers.

Romano responded on his channel:

“We know Chelsea’s appreciation for Ekitike, Delap, Sesko, and more. I will be clear in the next days, so calma! Also because Chelsea are focused on the final. They want the trophy then they will accelerate on the market to do things.”

So there we have it, we just have to wait a bit longer now after tomorrow night’s Conference League cup final to see where we are at.
