Paris Saint-Germain forward Moise Kean reflected on his decision to leave Italian powerhouse side Juventus.
Kean departed from Juventus for a move to Everton over the 2019 summer transfer window. The transfer move for Kean was bittersweet as the Italian forward came up through Juventus’ youth ranks and then went on to spend a pair of seasons with the side.
Kean was disappointed to depart from Juventus but understood why he ended up leaving for a stint in the Premier League.
The PSG star forward spoke to the Italian-based outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport where he took a look back on his Juventus run.
“To be honest I was a bit sad to leave,” Kean said. “Juve gave me everything, I grew up there, without the club I wouldn’t be where I am today. But then I understood that that’s the life of a football and I understood. I had to take my own path, become a man, that was the right way. Juve will always remain in my heart.”
More so, Kean has not yet ruled out a possible return to Juventus someday down the road.
“I will enjoy the Champions League semifinals and then we will see,” Kean said.
For the moment, Kean is slated to return to Everton over the upcoming summer transfer window when his one-year loan agreement with PSG is up. But from there, his footballing future has not yet been decided.
