Son Heung-min has already written his name into the Tottenham Hotspur history books.

The honour of scoring the first goal at their new luxury home went to the South Korean in a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

He followed that up with the winner against Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.

There is little chance of him being forgotten by fans – or so he hopes.

“I just hope that people don’t forget me after 50 or 60 years,” Son joked with Spurs’ official website.

“This feels great and I’m honoured to play here, scoring goals and winning games like this.

“It is incredible. I am so grateful because this is a dream for me.

“I always say when you think positively then positive things can happen.”

It seems very unlikely that he will fade from the memories of the Spurs faithful.
