Real Madrid have went four matches without a win and over 400 minutes without scoring a goal.
However, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos believes that they can get over their bad form.
“It’s a challenge to turn this situation around,” he told the media.
“We have demonstrated that we can do it, there have always been spells like this. I’m not worried.”
New boss Julen Lopetegui has played Kroos in a more defensive midfield role, and despite his claim that he “likes” to play there, he has been more than happy to play in an attacking role for Germany.
“I’m not Casemiro,” he said.
“And [for Germany] Josh [Kimmich] played really good twice. That’s a good model for the future, one I could get used to.”
The Real Madrid star also dismissed Michael Ballack’s claim that Germany manager Joachim Löw should be sacked following Germany’s worst-ever showing at the World Cup.
“He thinks there should have been a change, maybe it’s because he wants the job,” Kroos joked.
“There will always be different opinions, some people think you should retire after great achievements while others believe the best time is after a big failure.
“If you ask yourself, the coach can find new incentives and Löw has done.
“I am convinced that we can return to doing well again.”
