Hungary coach Marco Rossi has revealed he rejected approaches from the Premier League last year.

However, ahead of Hungary's Nations League clash with Italy, Rossi admits he would now entertain talks with English clubs.

The former Sampdoria defender said: "If at the beginning of the Nations they had told me, 'you will score seven points after the first four rounds, you can choose who to score them with', I would have chosen just how it turned out.

"If I really had to lose three points, I would have gladly left them to Italy. I have no revenge to consume or sense of revenge.

"Today I have a contract until 2025 and even if I have a release clause, I have no intention of going away. Unlike what I did after the European Championship when I declined offers and meetings with Premier League directors, today I would evaluate them."
