Hull City set to sign Reda Laalaoui | OneFootball

Hull City are set to sign young Moroccan midfielder Reda Laalaoui (20), according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Laalaoui has been excelling in the Moroccan division for several seasons, including during the current campaign for FUS Rabat. He is now set for his first move to Europe. The midfielder had been attracting interest from across Europe with clubs in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal all showing interest in the player over the course of the past year, according to Foot Mercato.

However, Laalaoui will sign for EFL Championship side Hull City, who successfully ensured their safety in England’s second division earlier this month. They ultimately finished 21st, ahead of Luton Town only on goal difference. Talks for the English side to sign Laalaoui from FUS Rabat, Foot Mercato understands, are very advanced and it is expected that a deal for the 20-year-old midfielder will be completed in the coming days.
