Yes, it is easy to forget that we actually have a game to focus on this evening, and I really feel for the players and staff tonight.

Thomas Tuchel was professional as expected in front of the cameras yesterday, but I’d really love a penny for his and the players true thoughts right now.

We have to continue as normal for now, until everything is official and confirmed. But until then, Chelsea are playing and we must back and support the players for a win and keep the focus on top four.

Tuchel could rest some players from the weekend, and I feel Callum Hudson-Odoi might come in to rest Reece James.

Kai Havertz could come back in from the start, and Ben Chilwell may be rested for Marcos Alonso. Andreas Christensen is back from injury, and Thiago Silva might get a rest. I’m also concerned that Kante might also need a rest, and Billy Gilmour might come in.

My predicted Xl:

Mendy, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger. Hudson-Odoi, Gilmour, Jorginho, Alonso. Pulisic, Mount, Havertz.
