A late Jordan Rhodes goal means Huddersfield are now one game away from a Premier League return after they edged past Luton to seal their place in the promotion play-off final.
Scorers: Rhodes 82′
The sides drew the first leg in Luton 1-1 last Friday, leaving everything up for grabs ahead of the return leg in Yorkshire.
The visitors had the best chances of a goal-less opening half through Danny Hylton and Allan Campbell but failed to find the breakthrough.
And they were made to pay for those when, with just eight minutes left, Rhodes slid in at the back post to divert a deep free-kick in across goal with a fantastic finish.
That strike was enough to see the Terriers return to Wembley, where Nottingham Forest or Sheffield United will meet them.
