West Ham United will play hosts to Manchester City at the London Stadium hoping to build on their impressive start to this Premier League campaign by securing a result on Saturday afternoon. The Hammers have scored ten goals in their past three league outings which will give them some confidence about their chances of finding the back of the net versus the Mancunian giants this weekend.

David Moyes will probably stick with his preferred 3-4-3 formation and might be inclined to name an unchanged team for this home clash against the reigning EFL Cup champions.

3-4-3 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Manchester City

Łukasz Fabiański will feature in goal for West Ham despite shipping in three goals against Tottenham Hotspur in his last league outing. Moyes could once again go with the back three of Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna and Fabian Balbuena for this home game this weekend.

All three centre-backs have enjoyed a good run of form while playing together and has already got two clean sheets in their last three appearances to show for their efforts. Issa Diop will make up the numbers on the bench as he awaits his chance to come on in the second half if Moyes wants to add more defensive protection during the latter stages of the contest.

Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek will assume the duties of the holding midfielders as they work their socks off towards providing a decent layer of protection for the backline. Arthur Masuaku is expected to start on the left flank while Vladimír Coufal looks to impress on the other side as the right-sided wide player. Moyes will ask both of them to be more defensive-minded than usual as they try to stop Man City from creating too many chances in the wide areas.

Mark Noble, Manuel Lanzini and Robert Snodgrass will be available for selection on the West Ham bench.

The Hammers frontline will be comprised of Pablo Fornals, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen as they look to link up with each other and cause some problems for the opposition defenders. However, both Antonio and Sebastien Haller are slight doubts for this game, so Moyes will be sweating on the fitness of both of them heading into this weekend’s encounter at the London Stadium.

Andriy Yarmolenko will have to be content with a spot on the bench but could come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
