Manchester City will be looking to return to the top of the Premier League table on Wednesday evening, when they host West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium.
City, who overcame Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon, will be aiming to extend their Premier League winning run in midweek, with just six league matches remaining for the Sky Blues.
Arsenal returned to the summit of the Premier League table with a comfortable 3-1 win over Chelsea on Tuesday, though the Gunners have played two games more than Manchester City and are just two points cleat at the top.
One of City’s games in hand on the North London club is Wednesday’s meeting with West Ham at the Etihad Stadium.
The Hammers, who themselves have a European semi-final next week, are just four points clear of the relegation zone and have lost their last two Premier League matches.
David Moyes’ side face both Manchester City and Manchester United in the next week, and also have crucial fixtures against relegation rivals Leeds United and Leicester City.
