Blues welcome fourth-tier Barrow to Stamford Bridge in the third round
Chelsea begin their Carabao Cup campaign tonight against lowly Barrow.
The Blues reached the final of this competition last season under former manager Mauricio Pochettino, only to lose to a young Liverpool side in extra time.
Under new head coach Enzo Maresca, the Blues have lost just two out of seven matches in all competitions so far this season but remain without a win at Stamford Bridge.
The visit of League Two leaders Barrow will afford Maresca the chance to rotate his massive squad - Ben Chilwell will come in for his first minutes of the season and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall his first start.
"Hopefully we can share some good moments at home in front of our fans," Maresca told reporters on Monday.
