Bayern Munich will be looking to get back to winning ways on Sunday as they take on VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga.
After suffering a 4-1 defeat to FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, Bayern Munich will look to take their frustrations out on a Bochum side still searching for its first win of the season.
Despite their woes in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern have been dominating proceedings and scoring goals for fun in the Bundesliga. And Vincent Kompany will hope that his side can keep that run going on Sunday.
Bayern could welcome Jamal Musiala back into the starting XI after the playmaker came off the bench against FC Barcelona. Michael Olise and Harry Kane will also be key for the Bavarians on Sunday.
The spotlight will also be on Bayern’s defensive high-line, which Barcelona breached time and again on the counter-attack on Wednesday. Bochum could look to employ a similar tactic and try to force turnovers by pressing high up the pitch. Markus Feldhoff will take charge of the game for Bochum after Peter Zeidler was sacked earlier this week.
Bayern Munich's clash against VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga will be broadcast live in Germany on DAZN. Fans in the United States can watch the live stream of the game on ESPN+, and the action will be broadcast live in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports.
