Aston Villa face a mammoth task of overturning a 3-1 deficit against PSG when they host the French champions at Villa Park on Tuesday night.

Villa’s defeat to PSG last week was the only game they have lost in the last ten in all competitions, and have won the other nine. They are in incredible form but face a PSG side also on an outstanding run.
The French side have won seven in a row since losing to Liverpool in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie. Before that, they had not lost since November.
Villa boss Emery urged the fans to help his side “create history”, saying: “I have experiences of comebacks. Both positive and negative.
“But now, it’s something different. We want to write the history of Aston Villa. Last year in the Conference League, this year in the Champions League and hopefully for years to come in Europe.
“We will be connecting with our supporters and transmitting the energy. More or less, if we do, tactically and individually, good things on the field, the supporters are going to up our energy and help us a lot.
“They are going to transmit that energy always for our players.”
PSG boss Luis Enrique, however, says his team will not be intimidated by the Villa Park atmosphere.
“For us, it is always a pleasure to play and compete in a stadium like this, with so much history,” he said.
“We love playing football. Our teams and supporters are accustomed to this. It is going to be a big match, there is certainly no problem with the atmosphere. It is a motivation, more than anything.”
