Birmingham lost a crucial six-pointer against QPR last week, which hurt their chances of survival and moved the Hoops away from danger.

This weekend they face Leicester City, who are chasing automatic promotion back to the Premier League, followed by a midweek clash against Cardiff City, who are still hoping to secure a play-off place.

Another play-off hopeful, Coventry City, visits St. Andrew’s on 13 April, before the Blues visit the soon-to-be-relegated Rotherham.

Gary Rowett’s side ends the season with games against rival Huddersfield Town and Norwich City, giving the side a difficult run-in with very few fixtures against opponents with nothing to play for.

Ian Foster has been replaced as manager of Plymouth, with the Pilgrims placing Neil Dewsnip and Kevin Nancekivell in charge until the end of the campaign.

The duo’s first game in the dugout will be against the Millers, who could have their fate sealed if they fail to win against Plymouth on Friday.

The trip to Rotherham is followed-up by a midweek game at Home Park against QPR before they also host Leicester on 12 April.

The team’s final three games come against Stoke City, Millwall and Hull City, which is a more favourable set of games than Birmingham’s, but still a tough run-in.

The Terriers get their final six games underway with a home game against 19th place Millwall, with just four points between the sides.

Andre Breitenreiter’s side then face trips to Preston North End and Bristol City, before hosting Swansea City.

Birmingham travel to the John Smith’s Stadium in the penultimate game of the campaign in what is set to be a huge clash, with Huddersfield ending the term with an away trip to Ipswich Town.

While their next four games represent opportunities to pick up points, those final two fixtures could be decisive for the Yorkshire outfit’s survival hopes.

Sheffield Wednesday travel to QPR this weekend in a big game at the bottom of the Championship table.

QPR are up to 16th with recent results, but a win over the Owls would go a long way to ensuring their safety in the division.

Danny Rohl’s team then faces a midweek clash with sixth place Norwich, who are aiming for a play-off place.

Games against Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers in their next two games represent huge fixtures against two other sides threatened with relegation.

Finally, the Yorkshire outfit ends the campaign with games against West Brom, at home, and Sunderland, away.
