The summer transfer window only started on July 1, but Serie A clubs have already crossed paths with Nottingham Forest for several players, including Luis Henrique and Jadon Sancho.
Every club in the world must beat competition to sign their favourite targets in every transfer window, but the opening three weeks of the summer campaign have seen Serie A clubs fight or negotiate with Nottingham Forest for several players.
It all started in May, when the Premier League reportedly tried to hijack Inter’s bid to sign Brazilian winger Luis Henrique from Olympique Marseille, but the Nerazzurri had already reached an agreement with the 23-year-old and his club.

A few weeks later, Forest had reached an agreement with Juventus for Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula, but both players rejected a move to England and are now heading to Marseille and Werder Bremen, respectively.
Forest also knocked on Milan’s door for Yunus Musah, and, technically, a deal is still possible, given that the USMNT international is not part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for 2025-26, as director Igli Tare said in June.

Another target in central midfield was Palmeiras’ Richard Rios, but the Brazilian club rejected offers from Forest and Roma, sending the 25-year-old to Benfica instead.
Unable to complete the Rios deal, Roma signed Neil El Aynaoui from Lens.
Cub Brugge’s Ardon Jashari is also on Forest’s radar, but, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Swiss talent has rejected a move to the English club as he wants to join Milan this summer.

Another player likely to snub Forest for Serie A is Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho, who has agreed to personal terms with Juventus and is awaiting the final green light to move to Turin.
Forest have also sounded out Mehdi Taremi’s availability this summer and sent an opening offer for Bologna star Dan Ndoye, who has agreed to personal terms with both the English club and Napoli.
