The iconic duo long competed for honours in Spain as Messi's Barcelona went toe-to-toe with Ronaldo's Real Madrid, but their stories at the top of European football have since ended.

Messi is now with Major League Soccer outfit Inter Miami while Ronaldo keeps up his goalscoring in Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr.

The stakes aren't as high as they once were when the Ballon d'Or winners competed, but the encounter in the Riyadh Season Cup will draw eyes to the region with fans in attendance at Kingdom Arena. Here's how much some of them had to pay to get in.

Premium ticket costs for Inter Miami vs Al Nassr have reached the heights of $11,214 - roughly £8,840 - according to website SeatPick. However, fans in the region are able to buy tickets for considerably less.

Tickets can be accessed through WeBook, with prices beginning at $100 - £79 - as of 31 January.

The Kingdom Arena is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and has a capacity crowd of 40,000. The first game at the ground took place in late January as Al Hilal beat Inter Miami 4-3 as part of the Riyadh Season Cup.

The stadium has also hosted boxing bouts in the past, with British heavyweights Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua previously competing there.

When is Al Nassr vs Inter Miami in the Riyadh Season Cup 2024?

Al Nassr and Inter Miami will face off in a friendly on Thursday 1 February at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The game forms part of Miami's pre-season, which hasn't gone well as of yet. The Herons were beaten 4-3 by Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, though Messi did get on the scoresheet alongside new arrival Luis Suarez and youngster David Ruiz.

They are yet to win a friendly since the start of 2024, having drawn with El Salvador before losing Dallas.

Al Nassr, meanwhile, are fresh with their most recent game coming in late December. They're seven points behind Al Hilal in the league title race and may also be without Ronaldo, whose recent injury scare saw the club abandon a planned trip to China.
