AC Milan are keen to sign Manchester United star Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
But the Serie A outfit are only interested in a loan deal with an option to buy included, as per BBC Sport.
Milan are willing to pay an initial £3.47 million loan fee, with an option to buy next summer for £34.7m.
It is unclear whether United, who reportedly value Hojlund at £40m, would accept their proposal.
The Manchester titans need to make sales to remain compliant with the league’s financial rules, and they are open to offers for Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia. Marcus Rashford has already left to join Barcelona on loan.
Hojlund has publicly expressed his desire to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford, but he will likely face increased competition in 2025-26 with Benjamin Sesko close to joining.
The Red Devils have agreed terms with RB Leipzig and Sesko has flown to the UK to undergo a medical.
The Slovenian is expected to be introduced to the Old Trafford crowd before Saturday’s lunchtime friendly with Fiorentina.
Hojlund joined United in 2023 for a £72m deal, but has failed to make a huge impact at the club.
Last season, he bagged only four goals in 32 Premier League appearances, as Ruben Amorim’s side finished 15th – their lowest league position since 1989-90.
