We looked at how many season tickets Portsmouth have currently sold ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
Portsmouth are preparing for another campaign in the Championship after securing survival last season.
After winning the League One title in the 2023-24 season, Portsmouth made a slow start to life back in the Championship last term, and they sat bottom of the table in early November with just nine points to their name.
With Pompey already six points from safety at that stage, relegation was looking like a realistic possibility, but John Mousinho's side slowly began to pull away from danger as they found their feet in the second tier.
It was not all plain sailing for Portsmouth in the second half of the season, and their poor away form threatened to drag them back towards danger, but they eventually finished the campaign in 16th place, five points clear of the relegation zone.
With Pompey now firmly established back in the Championship, excitement is high among the Fratton Park faithful about what could be ahead next season, and that is underlined by the club's strong season ticket sales.
After the turbulent times they have experienced over the past two decades, Portsmouth supporters have become known for their loyal support of their team, and that was no different last season.
Pompey had an average attendance of 20,259 last season - an increase of almost 2,000 from their League One title-winning campaign - and that meant that every game at Fratton Park was a virtual sell-out.
The first indication that similar attendance numbers could be repeated next season came when the club revealed that over 7,800 supporters had purchased season tickets in the first full week of sales last month, and that total has now almost doubled.
Ahead of the closure of the renewal window on Tuesday afternoon, Portsmouth confirmed that more than 14,000 fans had bought season tickets for the upcoming campaign, and that is despite an increase in prices.
An adult season ticket in all areas of Fratton Park, except for the centre of the North Stand and the South Stand, has risen in cost by £41 from last season to £496, but that has not prevented Pompey supporters from booking their seats for next term.
Portsmouth will be roared on by a passionate home support once again next season, and Mousinho will be hoping that they can help his side to another strong campaign at Fratton Park.
Only relegated Plymouth Argyle picked up fewer than the 14 away points Pompey accumulated on their travels last season, but in contrast, they ranked eighth in the home table, with 40 of their 54 points being secured on their own patch.
Many teams found the South Coast a difficult place to visit last season, with the likes of champions Leeds United and top six duo Coventry City and Bristol City among those who came away empty-handed, and Portsmouth will be keen to ensure their home ground remains a fortress next term.
With Mousinho recently confirming his commitment to Pompey amid speculation that he could be in the frame for other Championship jobs, there are plenty of reasons for supporters to be optimistic going into the new season, and the feel-good factor around the club is certainly reflected in the season ticket sales.
