Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio received a straight red card against RB Leipzig at minute 59 after handling the ball outside the box, while Douglas Luiz caused a penalty kick five minutes later with his first touch in the game.
It’s an eventful night in Leipzig where Serie A giants Juventus saw their goalkeeper Di Gregorio receive a straight red at minute 59 after touching the ball with his hand outside the box.
The Italian came out of his own box to stop a Leipzig attack, and the referee needed a VAR check to see that he had touched the ball with his left hand.

Thiago Motta had already made two substitutions in the opening 11 minutes to replace the injured Gleison Bremer and Nico Gonzalez, so he had just one slot left. Kenan Yildiz came out for Mattia Perin, while Douglas Luiz was subbed on for Nicolò Savona.
Douglas Luiz’s approach, however, wasn’t exactly convincing as, a few seconds after his introduction, he caused a penalty kick with another handball.
The ex-Aston Villa midfielder tried to protect his face from a Xavi Simons free-kick, but he was inside the box, and referee Francois Letexier ruled after a VAR check that the Brazilian had made his body unnaturally bigger.
