Matt O’Riley has adapted to life with the Scottish giants wonderfully and he is already proving to be a success at Celtic Park.

More Less

Leaving MK Dons with seven goals and five assists, O’Riley certainly came with a level of expectation, however, given his age, and the fact that he was operating in England’s third-tier, not many Celtic fans would have expected the young midfielder to start the way he has done.

O’Riley has already proven that he is not one for the future, he is one for the here and now.

The 21-year-old has been linking up with his midfield counterparts and forwards very well from the onset and he is likely to play a big part in what remains of this season.

Celtic sit a point ahead of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership, but with the Bhoys in excellent form, they are the likely candidates at this stage to go on and see glory.

Not only is O’Riley a player who is already justifying his move, but he is also someone with an incredibly high ceiling who can be a vital player in seasons to come.
